My Story

I was born in Chicago, raised in the western suburbs.  My construction experiences started as I attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.  During my college days, I found myself pouring concrete foundations and flat work for a large commercial contractor.

Later, I was involved with architectural sales and business development of exterior walls systems for commercial, industrial, governmental, institutional, and high- rise buildings for 8 years. The products we designed, fabricated, and installed ranged from precast concrete, granite, marble, ceramic tile, to stucco and Dryvit.

Then, I started my time in the metal building industry as a district manager with Stran Steel, followed by various assignments in the NCI Buildings and Components divisions for a combined total of 18 years.

Throughout my career I held positions ranging from Sales Engineer to Marketing Executive for some of the largest commercial, industrial building manufactures in the United States.
